This training session is for LTUMC group leaders to learn more about how to be “trauma informed” as you create a space for all who enter to experience Jesus’ love and healthy fellowship.
Join us for a transformative one-hour presentation, followed by a 30-minute processing group. We will delve into three pivotal topics: fostering cultural change, discerning the needs of our community, and offering effective support. While we share lived experiences, we’ll challenge misconceptions surrounding mental health and trauma, emphasizing their profound realities. Attendees will receive a toolkit to reinforce these concepts, ensuring our church can genuinely say, “We welcome you,” to all seeking support and understanding.
